1st Annual Week of Remembrence

In mid-March 2020, our lives changed forever. Daily trips to the office or simply going to the grocery store or sporting events became challenging if not impossible. Soon we started hearing of friends and family being infected. Not long thereafter, many of us became sick. Soon we knew of those close to us who had lost their struggle with this terrible illness. Many wonderful friends and family went to their graves without an opportunity to have a fitting tribute. These friends may be gone, but they are certainly not forgotten. How can we honor those who have gone before us that their memories are etched permanently in our minds and hearts? Cairn the Load would like to personally invite you and those you love to participate in the first annual “Week of Remembrance” held during the week of March 21 - 28. Knowing that we each stand on the shoulders of giants in our lives who are no longer with us, consider what you can do to honor their wonderful lives and memories. Whether we honor those who have passed during the pandemic or⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

perhaps before, remembering another’s life through service is one of the greatest memorials we can participate in. Consider what you might do this week:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
* Participate in an outdoor spring-cleaning project for an elderly neighbor.
* Send out three handwritten letters to someone that could really use a boost from you.
* Organize a fun run or simply a walk (where appropriate)
* Give blood through the Red Cross.
* Safely perform service at a local homeless shelter food bank.⠀⠀
Week of Remembrence
There are so many opportunities to honor those we miss. As for Annette, our family, and myself, we will⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
be honoring our son, Reed, who passed away ten years ago this coming week in multiple ways. We look forward to sharing our experiences with you. Remember the inspiring words of Dr. Seuss: “Don’t cry because it’s over; smile because it happened.” You have the ability to make it⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
happen and create goodness around you.

"There is simple beauty in a cairn and the connection it creates with people from the past and from all over the world. It let's us know that we are not alone."

Annette Anderson of Cairn The Load

Don't judge yourself by your past, you don't live there anymore.

If you’ve ever found yourself feeling lost, alone, or like nobody understands why you feel the way that you do. We want to help. There are no perfect paths for healing and there is never a right or wrong answer when it comes to what we should be doing with our life. Yet in this journey of self-discovery, we have learned so much about ourselves and others around us as well as how people think differently than each other. Let Us Help You Find Your Promised Land

Thoughts On Becoming

Thoughts On Becoming We have all had various experiences that have had a significant affect on who we are.
